About Alliance Airlines
Alliance Airlines is Australasia’s leading provider of contract, charter, and allied aviation services. With a fleet of 79 aircraft and a workforce of over 1,500 employees, Alliance delivers essential aviation solutions to the mining, energy, and government sectors, as well as wet lease services to major carriers.
Alliance’s success is underpinned by a safety‑first culture, long‑term customer partnerships, and a commitment to delivering commercially sound and operationally sustainable solutions. As an ASX‑listed organisation, Alliance plays a critical role in supporting regional connectivity and essential industries across Australia and the broader region.
What’s the role on offer?
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects, products and services across the organisation. Acting as the bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors, you will oversee end-to-end delivery from initiation through to completion — applying lean thinking and right-sized governance to get outcomes across the line efficiently.
We are building a lean, delivery-first culture within the PDO. This role suits a PM who knows when to use the framework and when to get out of its way.
Based in Brisbane, this is a full-time opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, regulated aviation environment.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and delivery focused Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders. You will bring:
Proven experience leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple initiatives
Strong capability in defining project scope, developing detailed project plans and managing resources
The ability to identify, mitigate and manage risks, issues and delivery dependencies and escalate with clarity when needed
Experience guiding and motivating cross functional teams to achieve shared outcomes
Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills, including managing expectations, coordinating third-party delivery milestones and resolving conflicts
Experience developing and implementing change management strategies
The ability to coordinate or deliver training and targeted communications to support adoption
Practical experience applying lean and agile delivery principles, right-sizing governance, reducing waste and accelerating time-to-value without unnecessary process overhead
A strong focus on value delivery, customer outcomes and business alignment, not methodology for its own sake
What will you need to succeed?
Demonstrated experience in project or delivery management, ideally across technology and business change
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Lean, Agile) — we value these as evidence of learning, not as a substitute for delivery capability
Experience and understanding of aviation and airline regulatory, safety and operational environments (desirable)
A bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field, or equivalent experience (desirable)
